About Me
My background
As a Floridian, we learn to embrace what life throws at us. Art is an expressive way to explore the world around us. From a young age I learned to appreciate nature and life around me. From forest walks to growing plants, to long afternoons playing in the pool and sand, the beautiful state of Florida has something to show us.
My love of art and expressive creation developed at a young age as well and has blessed me thought my life. It is a means of soulful expression and a simple way to detox from a hectic day.
My favored media is acrylic, but I enjoy experimenting with acrylic pours and mixed media designs of watercolors and pencils.
My favorite designs include my home, the ocean, abstract cities, underwater, and nature.
My experience
Imagine the deep endless blue of the sky giving way to the distant horizon line, etched with tints of pinks, purples and golds from the setting evening sun. The first evening stars appear as the last rays of daylight warm your shoulders, and you sink your toes deeper into the sand, feeling the hidden warmth below the coarse, cooling surface, still damp from the last high tide.
The warm evening breeze picks up off the water's surface, ushering in the new tide.
Simply put, an evening stroll on the beach is often my inspiration to paint.
My vision
Beauty is all around us. From the deep blue of the sky to the turquois of the Florida coastline accentuated with the blue of a martini glass next to the seashore. From skyscrapers to waves, the ocean is my home and my refuge.
My vision is to give back what the world has given to me. To showcase the beauty of the life around me, worlds often unseen and hidden from our busy daily lives but still meant for all of us to see.
